Volunteer OpportunitiesMary’s Place offers many opportunities for men and women to volunteer and make a difference in children’s lives. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization and are our most valuable resource. It is because of the support of the community that we are able to fulfill our mission and provide a safe place where no child will grieve alone. Office Support: General support is always needed and appreciated. Help with mailings, newsletter preparation and photocopying of materials. Special Events and Fundraising: Several events during the year such as our Have a Heart Fundraiser in February, our Wine Tasting in March, our Family Picnic in July, our Annual Gala in September, and our Holiday Children’s Party in December. Board of Directors: We are always looking for board members or committee members. Mary’s Place has a working board. All members participate in committees or fundraising events. Support Group Facilitators: Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a volunteer facilitator and participating in our next training or if you are interested in volunteering in another capacity.
